LCC- LYNN, MA

Salem United, Inc. has received an Arts and Humanity grant from Lynn Mass Cultural Council.  It funds a cultural historical event which brings a diverse community together while sharing the history and legacy of the first African American voting system.
 

We want to thank the Lynn, Cultural Council for their continued support with our Virtual and on location Exhibition of Negro Election Day.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!

Salem United, Inc. has received a first time Arts and Humanity grant from Peabody Cultural Council.  The Grant has allowed us to tell the story of the First Black Voting System - history of Negro Election Day through an exhibition both virtual and on location.  

We want to thank the Peabody Cultural Council for their support for 2021.  
 

WHO ARE THEY
The Mission of the Peabody Cultural Council is to support and promote the arts in the City of Peabody. The Peabody Cultural Council is proud to support public programs that create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore any of the various branches of the arts, including the visual arts (drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, film making), plastic arts (sculpture, ceramics, metalworking, glass working, mosaic & architecture), performing arts (Music, Theater, Dance), and Literary arts (Poetry, and prose). It is the goal of the PCC to mobilize resources and to ensure that artistic cultural opportunities are available and accessible to all segments of Peabody's population in order to improve the quality of life for everyone.
