Salem United just celebrated 275 years of the Salem Willows Black Festival.  We look forward to celebrating 276th year in 2017

Hello Everyone

In 2016 Salem United was honored to bring you the 275th celebration of Negro Election Day aka Salem Willows Black (Picnic) Festival.

The Community came out to support the efforts of Salem United.  Participates were Organizations like American Heart Association, Salem State University and more.

The Salem Willows Black Picnic Parade marched joined by Essex Sheriff Color Guard, Most Worshipful Grand Lodge Prince Hall, National Parks Service, Salem and Lynn Fire Department and so many more.

Bringing information to uplift, educate and inform is one of the missions of Salem United for the Communities it serves.

We hope that you will join us for the 276th celebration of Negro Election Day aka Salem Willows Black (Picnic) Festival.

Thank you,

Doreen Wade
President, Salem United
